Inner City Tour
The old centre of Copenhagen, together with its paved alleyways, offers a lot of charm and is characterized by the oldest buildings in the city.
Of course the Inner City provides also with a lot of shopping possibilities. But besides the usual high street shops like H&M, Zara etc. the Inner City actually offers a lot of quirky, diverse shops and manufacturers run by passionate craftsmen. Let us show you three of the best manufacturers in the Inner City area!
This tour can look like this (example only):
We start off at Sankt Peders Stræde, where we will find Sögreni Bikes. Here, we will meet Søren Sögreni, who has a true passion for creating durable bikes in an effortless design. Because of the no-nonsense approach to the designing of bikes, Sögreni have gained international recognition, most recently with an eye-catching collaboration with the famous Danish silver smith Georg Jensen.
Next, we will walk to Studiestræde, where we will find a shop called SchönWerk. The shop is run by the designer Ms. Anne-Mette Sørensen, and the goldsmith Ms. Diana Røboe Nielsen, and provides customers with unique, handcrafted jewelry and other accessories. Anne-Mette and Diana will show us their workshop, where we can see the designing and crafting process from all sorts of accessories like leather-goods and jewelry.
Finally, we will walk towards Skindergade, where we will find Sort Slips Hvidt Slips (Black Tie White Tie). Sort Slips Hvidt Slips is a small basement shop that focuses on sustainability. The small shop offers fashionable clothes and small home accessories, all manufactured by Sort Slips Hvidt Slips and produced out of recycled materials.
